Lightbulb Designing your own Armor

What if u could design your own armor? Like being able to pick a design template and add on items u find or buy in the game, like curved minotaur horns or sumptin like that and be able to color the temple and add texture and stuff like that?

Unfortunately funnyman, the post you've made is pretty vague.

With all the different types of armor out there for various classes (entry level all the way to 15k), along with the fact that you can mix-n-match any armor type, not even mentioning dyes; I don't see this as really necessary.

I might be prone to /signed if it were something that a guild leader could do for a specific emblem on the armor, but with the capes, it's really not needed.

I can't see where something like this would be beneficial to the game. Besides A-net having to write a bunch of code to make armor customizable, it (could) take hours just to create your own armor at the crafter. I'd prefer to spend my time actually playing the game.

Good Idea, people always want some unique armor.

Kinda reminded me of this one.

I see two type for it, one is for Attachments (like extra spikes or plates) another is texture (like differnt kind of pattern). Granted it would work better on some type of armor than other, and would not want to see it apply to all of the exisiting one, but rather to a new, "clean" type of armor that are designed to be added on to.

Ya i was thinking of a new type of armor like just a shirt then add were the plates go and then move the spikes or horns rite on. The u could get a random armor amount and then add up all the items used and pay the NPC.

one of my friends has the coolest armor (to me) ever it is a mix of 15k canthan, kruz, lux and i belive 1.5k lux. he hand picked every peice because that was the way he wanted it. he mixed his dyes speicial so he would have (hopefully) a original blend. also why make all thos people with 15k armor mad when you can make cooler stuff. FoW is supposed to be the best in game.

would be kinda fun tho to have horns and stuff.
